VENDORS: Vendor applications are available on our website. At this time, we are accepting vendor applications. We are continuously monitoring guidelines regarding COVID-19. We will not be sending out vendor contracts until we have more detailed guidance as far as holding the event. Get your applications in so that once we are able we can send out contracts to you. PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE As most people are already aware, the COVID-19 pandemic and recent rise in cases in our community has meant that it is now vital to limit social contact and avoid gathering. After careful consideration by the fair council, we have made the very difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Chattooga County Agricultural Fair. While we know this is disappointing, we hope you can understand the steps we’re taking to help keep our volunteers and attend...ees safe. While we have cancelled the events scheduled for late August, we are reserving the option to hold separate livestock shows at a later date pending restrictions set forth by the governor. We will be reaching out to all sponsors regarding sponsorships. We will also be contacting all vendors to issue refunds. Following increased and overwhelming concerns about the COVID-19 virus, we felt this was the best way to proceed during such an unprecedented global situation. We are very disappointed that we are unable to hold this event for our community and supporters, but we know it’s the right decision based on the information we have today. As always we are very thankful for the support of our community. We are looking forward to an exciting, fun filled fair in 2021. Chattooga County Agricultural Fair Council

The Chattooga County Agricultural Fair Council is moving forward with plans for the fair currently scheduled for August 27- 30, 2020. We are hopefully optimistic that we will be able to operate. However, we realize that we may be required to make some changes and adjustments in order to minimize the health effects of COVID-19 and we will work diligently to create a fun and safe environment for our guest. We look forward to once again, providing an entertaining event where we can gather and create memories. Stay safe and we will provide regular updates in the following weeks.

The Jurassic Kingdom Dinosaur Show sponsored by Bob & Sue Burdick will have shows today at 4pm, 6pm and 8pm.... The petting zoo sponsored by The Breakers at Trion will be open today during fair hours. Also check out the Agruculture Demonstration Room hosted by Chattooga County Farm Bureau 2:30pm - Chattooga FFA - Wiring basics and tools 3:30pm - Vineyard Cafe - Cooking fresh from the garden 5:00pm - 4-H - Technology Time See you this evening!
