CAH pays it forward Everyone meet George! He came to our hospital from a local shelter for an examination; he had several wounds and abrasion and appeared to have suffered through significant trauma. He also was not able to put weight on his back leg. Upon further examination and x-rays it revealed that George had a severe femur fracture most likely from being hit by a car. This type of fracture was going to require extensive surgery and several months of rehabilitation. Ou...r hospital was able to help financially support his surgery with the help of our Angel fund. Our Angel fund helps provide emergency treatments and services for a few stray pets each year. Our Angel Fund is made possible through client donations and a small donation from every euthanasia performed at our hospital. Cherokee Animal Hospital also donates time, services and materials for these pets. George’s surgery was a complete success and is living his best life with his new owners. George was our final beloved pet to benefit from our Angel fund in 2020. We are always so thankful for our clients entrusting us with the care of their pets. See more
