Roll the stone away "Take away the stone," he said. "But, Lord," said Martha, the sister of the dead man, "by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been the...re four days." John 11:39 We all have stones that need to be rolled away. This verse above is from the gospel of John. Lazarus the brother of Mary and Martha had become ill and died. Jesus showed up in the middle of their chaos and performs an incredible miracle. The family believed that Jesus came too late and that all was lost. Most of us have had those feelings in our lives a few times. Jesus you are too late and all is lost! Jesus is still moving stones. Things that we count dead, He can revive. Maybe today you need a stone moved in your marriage, concerning your career, with a family member, or with your health. Perhaps, you are in a fight with an addiction, doubt, despair, or depression-allow your faith today to swell. GOD STILL WORKS MIRACLES AND MOVE STONES. See Lazarus could not move his own stone. Lazarus could not make himself whole and well. He needed someone to move the stone- Jesus. Today if you cannot change something in your life and you’ve tried everything with no success- Give it to Jesus. When you feel like throwing in the towel and giving up- Don’t quit. The darkest moments in our lives come just before the break-through! Mourning may last for the night but joy comes in the morning. He is a way-maker, miracle worker, and a promise keeper. Get ready to leave your tomb! Prepare your heart for stones to roll away today!
