So excited to welcome orchestra students on campus next week! Also excited to receive a Seed Fund Grant last spring to install an 85 TV to facilitate optimum viewing across the whole classroom.

Universal Remote Learning Announcement & Phase 3 Reopening: As we wrap up the another week of universal remote learning, we want to share a few highlights and s...uggestions. Students are doing such a great job with managing classes online! Thank you for your help with supporting your children and their teachers! Most students are on time and ready to start class. They also have done well with adhering to the URL norms and emailing their teachers when they need additional support. As we continue with universal remote learning and continue to get to know our students they do have the option of turning on their camera. Although turning on the camera is not required, but we do believe that it will help build classroom community and connection. During phase III Fulton County Schools will begin welcoming students back into the building. This phase would allow up to of our student population to be face to face. Students A-E Monday Students F-K Tuesday Students L-P Thursday Students Q-Z Friday Wednesday will be a full remote learning day for all students. It is not mandatory to return to face to face instruction during phase III as Universal Remote Learning will continue. The district we be sending out a survey next week to determine your choice and allow schools to plan accordingly. Next we will also begin communicating our new protocols and practices to help keep students and staff safe. Beginning 9/21 our bell schedule will be changing back to a more traditional schedule. This will be done to meet the requirements of the transportation department for our face to face students and allow our Universal Remote Learning students to be taught at the same time. Our new schedule will be shared with families next week. Finally, masks will be required for all students when they return to the building.
