#Tepoztlan name derives from the nahuatl word "Tepuztli", meaning "copper axe above a hill". This time we went for a hike to the Tepozteco hill or Tepoz for short. The trail starts at the end of Tepozteco Avenue, about five blocks north of the market. Walk up the cobblestone street it is a #5sensesmexico experience where you can watch some character like the chinelo a dancer representing Spanish bearded man and color full decorations and art craft like the rooster. The entra...nce to the trail is lined with merchants and food vendors the smell invite you to try everything. At the top there is a small pyramid but due to Covid it was closed however the view was worth the hike of 1200 feet hight. When we came back the church was decorated for a wedding ceremony. La entrada al sendero está llena de comerciantes y vendedores de comida cuyos olores te invitan a probar de todo. En la parte superior hay una pequeña pirámide pero debido a Covid estaba cerrada, sin embargo, la vista valió la pena la caminata de 366 metros de altura.
