Owunari Briggs has been a Quality Inspector with Clarion since July, 2001. He says the most enjoyable thing about working at Clairon is that People are very friendly and whenever you need help, just ask. Someone is always ready to help. His favorite part about his job is that he is the first to support production on quality issues. Producing quality parts to the customer is one of our primary goals. His favorite memory at Clairon is working on a challenging program for on...e of our large customers. During his off time, he enjoys keeping up with the news and trying to analyze public policy statements that are being formulated in Washington, DC. One day, he would like to visit Europe, especially France and Holland. His favorite vacation that he has taken so far, though, is his visit from Detroit, MI to Houston, TX during the winter. Obi defines success as when a person sets a goal in life and he or she is able to accomplish that goal. His advice to anyone who is just starting out at Clairon is, Follow the process. Our spotlight of the month is on Rose Brown, who is a packer at Building 2. Rose has been with Clairon since October of 2012. She loves the people she works with every day, and especially respects Clinton and Jason. She says of her job as Packer, It’s not a hard job, but you have to pay attention to what you are doing. She also said if she could do any other job for a day, she wouldn’t do anything else, because she likes it here. Some of her favorite memories of Clairon inc...lude the Employee Appreciation Day lunches, because they are really nice. In her off-time, Rose likes to rest, and spend time with her grandchildren, ages 22, 17, and 8. She would like to do a little traveling when things get better, and cites Florida as her favorite vacation destination. But one thing she just can’t resist is an Outback Steak. Bryan Owenby has been with Clairon since January 15, 2018. He is our 5S Tech, which means that he ensures that our plant is running smoothly according to the 5S Method of cleanliness and organization. When asked what his favorite thing about working at Clairon was, he replied, The atmosphere, my co-workers, and the respect that you get. He says that every moment is his proudest moment at Clairon, and the aspect he likes most about his role here is helping people.
