Closer Look Ministries, Inc. was established in 2004. In January 2019, Dr. Mystique VanOLinda Phillips was elected as Senior Pastor of Closer Look Ministries. Since that time, she has strived to push the ministry’s community efforts forward through outreach and missions. The organization’s passion centers around caring for families and individuals by encouraging stable healthy relationships, building self-esteem, providing opportunities to find biblical solutions to everyday on-going problems, and helping individuals see themselves how God sees them and reach their God-given destiny. Closer Look has hosted four feed the community events since January 2020. We have helped over 500 families in our efforts. With the help of the United Way of Greater Atlanta and Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, Closer Look will be able to meet community needs on an even larger scale. We have a passion to feed 2,000 families during our upcoming events listed below. June 10, 2020 at 2pm: We will provide boxes of fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, bags of rice and bags of beans, as well as bags of frozen chicken to 1,000 families for free. July 8, 2020 at 2pm: We will provide boxes of fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, bags of rice and bags of beans, as well as bags of frozen chicken to 1,000 families for free.
