Putting zombie make-up bags together for next week's school-wide virtual ZOOMBIE INCENTIVE! The incentive will be on Thursday October 29th from 3:00 to 3:45. Kids can choose from a variety of zoom rooms including some how-to's on Zombie Makeup or Fairy/Anime Makeup sessions, Cake Decorating with Savie from Sweetie Pie, dance party, costume competition, movie, trivia, scary stories, 'Among Us' breakout groups, dance lesson from Dance FX to name a few. If your kids are interested in attending either of the makeup zoom sessions we have supply bags that have all the supplies they'll need. Bags will be available for pickup on Monday October 26th from 10:30 to 12:30 or Tuesday October 27th from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

10/18/2020 Dear Clarke Middle Family, In my parent letter this week, I was so focused on our return to school plans that I forgot to share some exciting news! C...larke Middle is moving forward with plans for renovating or rebuilding our physical space. We have formed a building committee made up of teachers and parents from our LSGT and leadership teams (though we are still looking for one more parent representative from the Alps Elementary feeder zone!). We will hold our first building committee meeting on Tuesday, October 20 from 5:30 - 7:30. This will be an opportunity to hear our architect and SPLOST project manager describe the building process and to give feedback on general architectural styles. The meeting is open to all who would like to attend, and log in information can be found below. There will be multiple opportunities to provide feedback and future meetings will focus on specific stakeholder groups. Clarke Middle Family, On behalf of the Clarke Middle School Spirit Committee, it is my privilege to invite you to contribute to a very special school-wide function in a huge way. On October 29th, from 3:00 to 3:45, students will participate in their first Incentive of the school year. The teachers have designed some virtual opportunities for students to connect with peers, school staff, parents, and community members. PTA supports the school by providing supplemental activi...ties. We need your help to make it all come together. I've attached a SignUpGenius for you to choose how you would like to support this event. Time is of the essence, so please do not delay in signing up for your contribution. We want to let the students know their choices as soon as possible and need confirmation for the activities in order to do so. I've listed suggestions for where to buy certain items, but they are truly suggestions. I've also listed specific businesses and people to contact in some instances. These are businesses and individuals who may have supported Incentives in the past and may be interested in helping again. However, if you have another contact to provide these opportunities for kids, please let me know. I will be at CMS to collect all donations on Friday, October 23 from 4:00-6:00.
