Don’t know where this mighty wind came from but it sure is a wonderful reprieve from the heat...

My Dock The early evening sounds of a whippoorwill announce the night as the marsh hen’s cackle settles and fades. The long day has finally ended, yet this nigh...t begins afresh with a full moon and tide. Island nights on the Georgia coast are tempered by flowing moss from gentle breezes and non-existent darkness when the big moon arrives. You can see for miles; and the stars shine so bright they twinkle. The whine of a boat in the ICW, bouys dancing for miles, dock lights from a nearby island...suddenly a fish splashes in the water underneath me. Let me take this all in...enjoy my remaining years on this dock, this place where sounds are like music and sights like sparkles from heaven. There is but one time and place I relish solitude - my dock when the big moon and tide arrive.

We took the equipment out of the water until hurricane passed by our area. We are so blessed! We did a little maintenance and painting and now it's ready to go back to work. We love the new sign! Thanks T.j. Gaskin!
