The bridge over EW Connector is open so COMET VOMET MTB ride is back on. OG route leaving the shop tonight at 5:15. Ends at North Cooper Lake park. Bring lights, helmet, and taco meat.

Starting this Monday dec 7th Comet Trail Cycles will host a weekly night MTB ride through some secret, and not so secret trails. Total ride is 10 miles beginning at Comet Trail Cycles bike shop and ends at North Cooper Lake MTB park. Ride begins at 5:15. Front lights and helmets are a must. Additional Helmet mounted light is a great idea. 6.5 difficulty scale. Very challenging rock and log hoods, tight turns, loose surfaces, steep drops-climbs etc.. paved %80. Hike-a-bike? Yes. Total ride time is about 1.5 hours. Running late? Meet at Mabel Road( mile 0 of the Silver Comet) at 5:30 and hop on. Ride will not happen if temps are below 35. Ride will continue until time change.
