Makeover Your Kid’s Room: Refresh and Recycle Time for a makeover of your kid’s room? Make sure to get them involved, and keep it simple. Start by rearranging the furniture. A fresh coat of paint can give new life to an old desk, or brighten up walls. Try using a neutral base, (white,) then add a fun accent color somewhere that can be changed as they grow. Make a funky frame for artwork with painters tape! Look through the house together for old boxes, jars, cans or grocery ...bags, decorate them with stickers, paint, thumbtacks or fabric scraps, and use them to store clutter.
