The concept of "community" indicates a group of people who work together for mutual benefit because they recognize that they have common interests. The idea of " individualism" that goes along with the American ideals of competition and "survival of the fittest", seems to work against the concept of community. A group of individuals does not become a community until each person understands and accepts that we are all connected and that what happens to one affects us all.

This week, we have received several phone calls from people saying that we are distributing Section - 8 vouchers. This is not true at all. Our family housing program, Odyssey Villas, is funded under the Section 8 - Project Based Rental Assistance, which means the PROGRAM has qualified for Section - 8. Someone erroneously posted the mis-information in a Facebook group called, "Looking for Housing in Georgia".
