All eyes are on Georgia!!! Here’s today’s 200 GOTV** postcards for the TWO US Senate races in GA sitting on my kitchen island. Help stop Republican gridlock in Congress and move our nation forwarduse the below link for ways to elect Democrats Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff against two Republicans that helped cause Trump’s Pandemic in Georgia. ... They both conducted insider stock market trading while lying to the public about the danger of COVID-19, and fully support the Republican fascist agenda (destroying Democracy, supporting racism and misogyny, and rewarding the wealthy while increasing our national debt). https://politicalcharge.org//how-to-help-win-the-2-georgi/ ** GOTV stands for Get Out The Vote.

Folks How can I thank everyone?!?! What an experience running for the GA House #8! I wanted to wait until Kamala Harris was the Vice President-elect before announcing the results of my own race. (She was my Number One presidential candidate during the 2020 primary.) Oh yeah, Joe Biden also won. Good for you, and America, Joe....Continue reading

For my Georgia peeps, the MEME is for you. For the rest of my national following, I'm happy to report that my campaign for the GA state House District 8 has been very full, with large-size mailings, radio ads, yard signs, postcards, electronic billboards, newspaper ads, speaking engagements, Zoom meetings, thousands of texts (and the hated but effective robocalls using my own voice), and a professional phone bank, and I've personally dialed over 11,000 phone numbers. I just ...sent out a tweet that got over 3,300 impressions. It included a photo of me and my grandson Oliver. If you’re not on Twitter, here's what it said: The future is never more present than when you gaze into the eyes of your grandchild. Georgia, vote for a compassionate future that cares for all children, not just some. I'm running for office on a platform of high ideals, government service and military service, but mostly on advancing our compassionate Democratic values. We all need to act to save our Democracy from rising fascism and increasing militarizing of our civilian society.

When I did yesterday's campaign photo update, I left off the most labor-intensive element: post cards. The first photo is last postcard in a 3-card sequence. My daughter wrote out all 1,000 of them by herself in 3 days. You'll note her hand-written statement-- a thousand times. The second photo had been used in at least a half-dozen GOTV efforts starting in 2017, and I've now used it twice in my own 2020 race. I sent out 1,000 of them twice, complimented by the one up above.... So, that's 3,000 postcards with the same message. In combination with me personally making over 11,000 phone calls, I'd say that I've covered the district pretty well. And that's not even counting the 17,000 phone calls I paid for via a professional phone banking company. The third photo was an effort to reach Republican voters who are aghast at the incompetence and corruption by their party in the state legislature and the governorship. Over 6,000 innocent Georgians who were alive in March are dead because Republicans in this state did nothing (or worse, confused people) in February. So, this shot is 1,150 postcards to those voters. I hope that they get the message.
