This was a very difficult decision to make. Please see our statement on the 2020 Coosa Valley Fair below: In consideration of health and safety concerns for our entrants, vendors, volunteers, and patrons due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Coosa Valley Fair Association Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 Coosa Valley Fair until fall 2021. One of the most anticipated traditions of the Exchange Club of Rome is the annual Memorial Day Tribute honoring the men and women of the Armed Services who have given their lives in defense of the United States of America. This is an important and meaningful tradition to the members of our club, and although we will not be able to hold the service to the same extent that we have in the past, there will be a Memorial Day Service at the Fairgrounds this year, but unfortunately ...not open to the public. If you have driven past the Fairgrounds this weekend you will notice that there is a tribute next to the flagpole, visible from ML King Blvd. On Memorial Day, May 25th, at noon, the Americanism Committee will place a wreath at the flagpole and Bill King will play taps. We will attempt to Livestream the activities on the Exchange Club of Rome, GA.. Facebook page. Thanks to Exchange Club & Americanism Committee member, Jim Kelly for photos.
