Women at The Point

Hey ladies! It’s Nikki McGehee. I am in charge of the Lending Library for Women at the Point. This is something new we are going to launch! I’m an avid reader and I’m sure I’m not the only one! Or maybe you’re someone who would love to start reading, but you don’t really know where to start. My hope is this helps you, too! So, with that being said. We need books!... If you have any books that you would be willing to donate, please text me at 229-938-4237 (texting really works best) or e-mail me at [email protected] and we can arrange a way for you to drop them off. In my spare time, I will then go through the books. Any books that will not be used in the library (discretion will be used because we have limited space), will be sold to Gotwall’s and the money will be used to purchase newer, relevant books for everyone’s enjoyment. We are looking for books regarding Christian Women, Marriage, Relationships, Theology, Studies, Biographies and etc. Christian non-fiction will be applicable as well. I’m so excited to be a part of this! I know how much reading has grown my faith in so many ways and I want that for you, too! The idea of the library is that we would all lend/borrow books to help encourage and facilitate growth and learning in our relationship with God. For now, the library will be located in my Grow Group room, the High school Girls room. (Upstairs, take a left, last room on the left). I am hoping to get this started by the New Year at the latest. Incredibly grateful to belong to a church that is on mission for Christ. In honor of our fathers we made a donation to the Rescue Mission today. Thankful for Jason Beck and his heart to help those in need.
