Skim coat of Eclectic Products Famowood Glazecoat on the first batch of tabletops. I do a skim coat using 1/4 the normal amount so it fills in any gaps or knots... or whatever, because this stuff is a heavy product and it will sink down into any nook and cranny it can find.
