Meet our only other guy! Kyle grew up in a small town in Georgia, it doesn’t matter where because you’ve never heard of it. His beginnings seemed to indicate a very promising art career after winning a bronze medal in a county-wide PTA art contest in 4th grade. This would be know as his peak and was immediately followed by giving up. A decade later after giving college the old college try (twice) he set his ambitions lower and started his bar career in ...a black button up shirt at a hotel ten years after black shirt bartending was cool. He was eventually fired because he refused to shave his mustache, but to be fair we can all agree the entity on his lip is the most off-putting characteristic Kyle has which is really saying something. Later he worked in a restaurant that Esquire Magazine named the Best Restaurant in America but only after he left. Kyle has a passion for hospitality his steps of service are as follows: smile, make something up, cross fingers, hope for the best, force shots of blue curacao on innocent bystanders, blame Greg Thornton. We’ve been asked where did the name Crook Factory come from. So we’re going to give you a brief synopsis! When Ernest Hemingway and Spruille Braden met in the summer of 1942 they discussed what the writer could do for the war effort. Hemingway may have volunteered his services in a general way, leaving it to Braden to come up with the idea for Hemingway to organize an intelligence service to keep an eye on fascist sympathizers in Havana. What Braden had ...in mind was more of a counterintelligence service than an intelligence service: Hemingway was to use his contacts in Havana to keep an eye out for Axis spies, especially in the city’s large Spanish community.
