Hey CrossFit Silos and CrossFit North Fulton Friends!! Just a heads up that CrossFit Kids and Teens (at North Fulton) will begin its Fall Schedule on Tuesday August 20! Kids class is on Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays 3:45-4:30. Middle School and Teens meet the same days 4:30-5:30. Any questions contact Michele Rosenstock Hovis! Come join the fun!!!

Today was a good day celebrating our military who have given everything. Bitter sweet seeing all these people doing Murph all over. Post OP 20 weeks and a half was enough for my shoulder... meanwhile I had good friends with me today, I saw members work out at home, other gyms, with other people... This is the first one I have done in 11 years not in my own gym, but it was so sweet. As we work to begin construction on our future home, I have had people ask me if I fear... that members won’t return. Fear? You must not know me. Fear of being obsolete, of not blazing a trail, of not changing the world... that’s my fear. But seeing these people who I have invested in, all over the place, doing a ridiculously hard work out for a purpose... no, no fear. When we re-open in Milton, it will be for those who are in a place to be inspired... and many will move off to inspire others. Like Richard and his kids, how cool is that?!?! On this day, I am Blessed and Content!

FYI - the house has not been torn down because in order to disconnect the gas, they have to tear up the street. Yep, old school was sometimes dumb school. So a permit will be issued to power company tomorrow or Thursday we believe, and then power company will be out Thursday, Friday... Monday, a week from Monday... seriously we have no idea, but hopefully soon. Once you see street torn up and repaired, then we can expect house to come down. Who would have thought. #silospatient
