November 2019 marks a significant milestone for C.S. Britton, Inc. This month we will witness the culmination of many years of effort not only by the owners of CSBi but also by the Carrollton School District. We are excited to announce that Dave and Kay Rosgen will be in Carrollton to discuss the path forward for the development of a stream restoration curriculum beginning at the elementary grade levels and continuing through to the college level. Participants in these discussions will include the Owners of CSBi, Carrollton City Schools and the University of West Georgia along with distinguished guests. C.S. Britton, Inc. and Carrollton City Schools continue their partnership together by utilizing the outdoor classroom which runs through the campus. Buffalo Creek was the site last month where teachers spent the day outside learning about the creek. Scott Britton-President of CSBi-taught bank full width, cross sectional area, mean depth, width depth ratio, and entrenchment ratio. We are so excited to see so many teachers eager to help us continue to Make a Splash in Education.

This time last week we were enjoying beautiful Steamboat Colorado. Two of our guys John Gaiter and Dustin Whitfield spent the week in Rosgen Stream Training. Scott Britton-President of CSBi helped out as a team leader. It’s always a pleasure to attend class, learning, and making new friendships in this stream world! Big thanks to Dave and Kae for making us feel at home. Your hospitality does not go unnoticed! Thanks for a great week!

Summer Job 2018 Tarkington Bayou Mitigation Bank. In June we started the Tarkington Bayou Mitigation Bank project. The purpose of this job was to build a berm for over 250 acres of wetland to be created and connected. The estimated time for job to be completed was 180 days. Our guys finished in 32 working days.
