Sending our best holiday wishes from Oxbow Meadows!
What do you do with your Christmas tree after the holidays? Oxbow is participating in @keepcolumbusbeautiful’s Christmas tree recycling program this year! Drop off your Christmas tree at Oxbow’s front gates by the directed signs from December 26th through January 2nd. Make sure your tree is stripped of all decor and nails. These trees are then recycled and used for animal habitats and more!
Oxbow Meadows is closed for the holiday season! We will be closed from December 19th through January 3rd. Stay tuned for updated 2021 hours. See you after the holidays!

Thank you to Wells Fargo for supporting Columbus State University's Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center in our mission to educate, inspire and empower all people, to engage actively with their environment, even in this age of non traditional and virtual learning. Oxbow looks forward to furthering our mission by developing new ways to bring nature to those with minimal access!
We are thankful for the out flow of care and support from our community. Security measures are being taken to increase the safety on Oxbow Meadow's property with guidance and assistance from the police and the addition of new fences and cameras. We are a small staff and have been overwhelmed by the support and love from our community that Oxbow has received in the last day. While we are unable to respond to every comment or call, Oxbow will continue to keep our community updated. Our staff is working tirelessly to ready the center to reopen to the public and our animal ambassadors look forward to seeing you in the near future. For anyone interested in donating to Oxbow Meadows, the facility, and the care of our animal please visit: https://secure.touchnet.com/C20612_us//product_detail.jsp
