As Tropical Storm Zeta will be moving into our area overnight and during the early morning hours, Gwinnett County Public Schools will hold a digital learning da...y for all students on Thursday, October 29. Both in-person and digital learners will participate in digital learning from home. Teachers will not report to school on Thursday. Instead, they will teach students from home. Teachers should take their laptops home and make sure that in-person students know how and where to access class assignments. 12-month staff members should report to work if it is safe for them to do so. Updates about extracurricular and afterschool activities for Thursday will be provided during the day once additional information is available.

Just a reminderWednesday, October 21, and Thursday, October 22, are early release days for elementary and middle school students to allow for parent-teacher conferences. Students will be dismissed 2.5 hours earlier than normal.

We hope our students and school staff have a safe and relaxing Fall Break. Teachers return for staff development on Monday, and students resume digital or in-person classes on Tuesday, October 13.
