Last week wrapped up our Therapeutic Riding for the fall semester at Coweta Organization for Riding, Rehabilitation and Learning! We are so incredibly grateful to partner with this organization! Mr. Brown, Marie, Cheryl, Christa and their amazing volunteers are such a blessing to our students and staff. They are impacting the lives of so many families of students and adults with special needs in our area. Our Upper School World History students did an amazing job on their 3-D projects! So proud of how much they leaned about Ancient China and the Roman Empire! Super creative work!

Yesterday was our first day of riding at Coweta Organization for Riding, Rehabilitation and Learning! We are so excited to be partnering with them this year! Mr. Brown, Mrs. Marie and their volunteers are amazing!

Thank you to Beef 'O' Brady's Peachtree City for supporting our golf tournament! This is a great local restaurant that is always giving back to the community!

We had an amazing Friday at CWA! We talked a lot about the heroes who stepped up for people they didn’t even know 19 years ago today. Our Criminal Justice class got to zoom with two local Sheriff’s Officers Captain Eric Henkel and Sergeant Renee McCullum about how September 11th impacted their profession. We finished the day writing letters to local heroes and making a hero tree filled with our personal heroes! We are so thankful to our first responders, military and all other heroes who protect us each day!

We had an amazing day at CWA! Started off with a visit from Captain Eric Henkel of the Fayette County Sheriff’s office teaching us about Miranda rights and showing us his police truck. Then Angie Readd-McSpadden did an amazing ice cream in the bag experiment with our students this afternoon! Mrs. Becky and Libby were also in for a visit! Quite a Friday!
