When I was young my trainer used to occasionally conduct my lesson on the trail and I looked forward to it always. There's just so much to learn for both horse and rider when you hack out. The other day we had a great group of kiddos and their trainers do just that. They were all smiles

We at Dancing Tree Farms feel it is incredibly important to invest in our local youth organizations. Recently we were able to get this beautifully made sign for the farm which was made at Madison Co HS by students and benefited FFA. We are also so happy and proud to sponsor and coach Cowboys and Angels - Madison County 4-H Equestrian Mounted Drill Team who recently resumed practices with the goal of returning to competition in February 2021

Glad to be out showing this weekend at NCSC. We smiled, laughed, & cried a few nervous & frustrated tears, but mostly we learned more about ourselves & our ponies. Always a work in progress. We ended our weekend with a good roll in the dirt. Well, Eddie did. Congratulations to Lindley & Edgar Degas, Amelia & Cucu Catch U, and Jennifer & Sandy Royal Lena.

This week we had such a great time at the Appaloosa show at GIHP with our "mane" girl, Cookie. They competed well, brought home some blues, and got to see another Razzmatazz baby, Windy. It's always great to see him living on. We miss him so.

We would like to wish Cooper and Roxanne the best of luck this week at NBHA Youth Worlds. Here's to leaving all cans standing and fastest times yet. Bring it home!

A few of the improvements we've finally gotten finished with. Big shout out to RAK Construction for the work. Tack lockers for everyone, a covered tacking area, and a boarder lounge/office (currently sheetrocking and painting it) More pics to come.

Here are a couple of camps we have coming up at Dancing Tree Farms. If you are interested or would like more information please contact Chloe to sign up. -spots are limited- Fun day (for advanced beginner riders and up)... July 19 8am-3pm $60 Join us for a day of mounted games, trail rides and swimming in the creek... this is the fun day camp many of you participated in last year! Of course, trailer-ins are welcome if you would like to bring your own horse. ** Please bring packed lunch & drink- additional snack will be provided. Beginner Camp Jul 25-26 8am- 5pm $160 ($60 deposit to hold your spot, $100 day of) We will: Early morning lesson Games on horseback Trail ride in the afternoon Horse painting Swim in the Creek Learn the ins and outs of how to care for a horse (feed room, how to clean a stall, etc.) ** Please send packed lunch and a drink, we will provide an additional snack and drinks.
