Danielsville Baptist Church 12.01.2021

By the amazing grace and healing of God, Amanda and Anthony were at church on Sunday! Healed? not completely, but able to be up and about! and excited to be back at church. Who among us is completely healed anyway?? Is the church not for the sick and the sinner? The one looking for a better way, a better life. To be quiet honest I pray that I am never so healed that I think that I don't Jesus and need to be in church!

For unto us a child is born, to us a son is given. He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Merry Blessed Christmas! No matter what was under the tree the greatest gift was given when Jesus came. Have you received the salvation that offers?

Advent is almost over. The wait on Santa is getting less. The celebration of the Christ child is in just a few days. Today I urge you to take a few minutes to remember the things that Jesus came to bring. He came to bring hope, peace, joy, and love. Notice none of these can be purchased. Can't find them at Wal Mart, Amazon, Ebay, Target, Kroger, can't even be found in the next "high". I tell they can only be found at the manger and they were made possible at the cross. Will you accept the gifts from the Christ child??

After a long fight with cancer, Ms. Mattie was given the crown of salvation this morning at about 3, as she entered into her eternal home. Please pray for Marie, Hannah and Ms. Rebecca and the rest of the family. Saying good bye is never easy, but knowing that she is at rest and well gives peace.
