I've been around road races for almost 40 years and I've never seen a better deal than this year's Darkside Distance Festival. You'd be foolish to pass this one by when it comes around next year. Special thank you's to the fantastic volunteers--Adamy Diaz-Carpenter, Anne Rentz, Antonio Parks and Ken Menefield--and a hearty congratulations for all of the runners who achieved personal goals and/or personal bests and took the time to be with like-minded people who truly appreciate running, the greatest sport in the world. It was a fantastic three days.
