It is time to expand the trailer to a movie short. After many requests to see more, along with positive and exciting comments regarding the Hussi.e Movie Trailer, we decided to create a movie short out of the scenes we shot for the trailer. Hussi.e The Movie Short COMING SOON!

I will be @screeningroomatl to talk about the film and future film projects coming in the near future. I use to edit on actual 35mm film and with today's technology, I can accelerate my passion of film directing.

Chet A. Brewster is an experienced multi-cam and narrative director. His expertise is 30 plus year long in the entertainment industry and his desire to grow even further on the film directing side to tell stories is growing rapidly.

Today, we lost someone I had the privilege to call a friend. He has a lot of friends in this world. It was just on September 5th when I texted him happy birthday young man, looking forward to the next time we would meet up to talk about future projects and continue to support each other in this industry called entertainment. Whenever you lose a friend that you have known for a long time, time stops for a moment as you reflect a lot of things. Your relationship with that depar...ted friend, how good of a friend you were to them, if you could have made more of a difference in their life, your own mortality, so many thoughts and reflections. Tommy was someone who respected me in the industry for my accomplishments as much as I respected him as a TV Icon and as a consistent contributor to our community at so many different levels. I will miss his smile, sense of humor and that identifiable iconic laugh that I will be reminded of every time I watch Martin for the rest of my life. You were and continue to be one of my inspirations, and when I wake up tomorrow, God willing, I will continue my ventures in this entertainment industry we both have made our marks in with even more focus and determination to succeed. His First Lady Productions LLC, Davenstar 1 Entertainment, and Towonda Kilpatrick Original, LLC. partnered together to produce the adaptation of the stage play Can a hoochie become First lady into a feature length film entitled, hussi.e. The play was written, directed and produced by Towonda Kilpatrick in 2003 starring R. & B. Artist Keith Sweat, Q Parker, Phyllis Yvonne Stickney and Big Sean Larkin. Thirteen years later, Director, Chet Brewster challenged Towonda to write th...e screenplay. The team of His First Lady Productions agreed to revamp the plan of action for additional funding of the film and announces a fundraising campaign currently on www.hussiethemovie.com to produce and distribute the full feature indie film. The story is based on true events. The movie, hussi.e examines the cruelty inflicted upon dark skinned girls, habitually deemed as less than worthy within the African American culture. We also are announcing Porsha Ferguson to star as the leading lady (Desadier Wade) in Towonda Kilpatrick’s new film, hussi.e. Directed by Chet Brewster. The story is based on true events about dark skin, labels, abuse, and love. Porsha is slated to star as Desadier Wade. After meeting with Producer/Writer, Towonda Kilpatrick, and Director, Chet Brewster, Porsha sold them on her incredible performance! Not only did Porsha’s audition demonstrate her depth as an actress, her meeting with Towonda revealed how similar their path was in sexual abuse and labeling. Towonda feels strongly that God is sending her an actress who can truly understand the numerous struggles that go on in an African-American household hussi.e. will touch on subjects trending in social media today. His First Lady Productions Producers personally invite you to an opportunity to make history with our SAG Film hussi.e. We are currently in Pre-production, working to secure a full four-week shooting production schedule.
