Vanessa Glover,CF Vanessa has earned her certification as a Certified Floral Designer and is the owner and lead designer at 'A Touch of Glover flowers and Gifts'. She specializes in event floral and designs. Her business is located at 4408 Columbus Rd in Macon GA, where they not only design fresh and permanent botanicals for everyday use, they also specialize in fresh fruit bouquets and linen rentals. She has been in business for over 20 years. Vanessa’s love for design and d...ecor began when she was just 12 years old. Her passion for Interior Decorating led her to start her business in 1997 from her home while working a full time job. She began decorating various homes and businesses which later led to decorating for weddings and events. Vanessa’s customer service knowledge comes from working at Bellsouth Telecommunications for over 18 years where she was a customer service rep for residential and small business customers. After leaving Bellsouth and having a short stay at Cox Communications, in 2007 she leased a commercial storefront and incorporated fresh florals and everyday designs. She has been awarded contracts with The Robins Air Force Base and The Medical Center of Peach County where she operated the Flower and Gift shops. Vanessa is the Vice President of The Georgia State Florist Association and a member of The Florida State Florist Association. She also serves as the Vice President of Georgia’s District III, and has also previously served as the Retail Director. Vanessa has studied under the watchful eyes of Floral Industry Leaders such as Angelyn Tipton, Jackie Lacey, Sandy Schroeck, Bob Tucker and many more. She is working towards her AIFD certification. Vanessa is married to her high school sweetheart, Spencer, from which they have 2 children and 5 grandchildren who all work and support her vision!

Because we have just the show you need. Almost weekly, we get asked if we do classes. Unfortunately, we do not, but here is your chance to see our A...nnual Fall and Christmas Design Show. Designers present different ways of assembling flowers and more, along with providing answers to many questions. The cost of the show is $25 per person. All proceeds go to the Scholarship Fund for The Georgia State Floral Association continuing education. AND GET THIS!!!! Not only will you learn so many different techniques, but we also provide an incredible lunch during intermission.
