Folks it is that time again. I am still working from my home office as my cardiologist still won’t release me to be seeing clients face to face. I did have a light case of Covid-19 and still having after effects and it has been 3 months ago and now this new strain that is already in Georgia. When will it ever be safe again. I have made it to where it is easy for drop off and pick up which worked rather well in 2020. If you have a situation that needs to be a personal visit, I will work with you. I have the best clients in the world and I always look forward to our meeting to catch up and fellowship. We are like a big family. I love and pray for my clients. We are going to all make it through this together. Debbie Camp

If you haven’t received your $600 Stimulus Payment yet, you may find this link helpful. Please click Get My Payment and enter your information to see when and in what form your payment will be sent to you. Please be patient with the website, as so many other citizens are checking their status as well. Debbie Camp Accounting folks, today is September 30, 2020. We have only 15 days before the individual tax deadline. I have many of you I am working on but many that haven't gotten them to me and your extension expires on 10-15-2020. I do not want anyone to miss the deadline. I will be texting as many as I can to remind you but I may not have all phone numbers if you are a new client. Please let me know if we need to make arrangements to obtain your tax information as I am still working from my home office due to being high risk for Covid-19. Thank you and I pray you all are well.

Wow, July 15th has been one of the most exasperating days ever. Having tax deadline day in the midst of a pandemic is not for sissies. It was a LONG, HARD, day but Praise God we made it! As always I thank God, my family and Lewis Beavers for all your help. Lots of extensions and taxes to be done between now and 9/15/2020 and 10/15/2020. Hang in there with me and we will get there. Most may not know that I am the only one in my office that does taxes. I have help with lots o...f other things but taxes are all me. Doing close to 500 by myself isn’t an easy task but I am so blessed to have the most awesome clients. So many gifts showered given to me. Cards, letters of thanks and appreciation make it all worth it. You guys are the best. I have added so many new clients and new friends this season and I am so glad God sent you my way. My prayer is this Covid-19 world we are living in will come to an end or at least a way of dealing and living among it or the Lord comes back to claim His church. I want to thank each of you that has worked with me by leaving your taxes in the drop off areas provided. We didn’t fail to get a single one. It has helped me to follow the directions of my doctors about not seeing clients face to FaceTime due to my high risk factor for Covid-19. I have had several clients that have had the coronavirus and been hospitalized and very serious. I think they are all home now. Praise the Lord. We will just all band together and help each other out and we will make it through. Thank you for all that prayed for Raegan as she had to be tested as the doctor thought she presented with symptoms. The test came back today NEGATIVE! Praise God again for His many blessings. I love you all. See more

Hello folks. I have been told that a lot have came by my office and I was not there. I am having to work from home via doctor’s orders due to being high risk for Covid-19. I had so hoped to be back in the office by now but still not been released to go back. I have 4 family members and extended family members who have the coronavirus, two of which are hospitalized. I have not been around any of them. I have been Sheltered in Place since March 14th. However, here at my hom...e office my cell reception is sketchy. I called many people back today and only one said they could hear me without it dropping every other word. I ask that you text or email me if you can and if not please let me know and I will go somewhere that I can find reception even if I have to go somewhere else. You can also call Tammy Weaver my assistant and sister. Her reception is better and she will get word to me if you need me ASAP. I am doing taxes daily like a wild woman. God has been so gracious in sending me so many new clients as well as my awesome clients that support me every year. Thank you for bearing with me through this craziness that we are living in right now. I pray I will be back in the office soon.

Many of you have contacted me about not getting refunds, some have had paper returns and not gotten stimulus or refund. (In which I am also in that category, as I have not received mine either) This article is a great source of answers to all these questions. I am getting taxes done every day and if you have had them in to me then they will be finished by July 15th. If you have them to me already and are not concerned about the July 15th date and would still like an extensio...n through October 15th please let me know. It is a little slower working from home without all my necessities readily available like I have at my office at GLT. I hope to be back there soon. I have a doctor appointment Monday via phone Skype. Tammy, my sister who works with me had a doctor appointment yesterday and was told that it was too early and not to go back face to face appointments yet as she has lung issues and is high risk too. Please pray as I have a nephew, and two cousins that have the Covid-19. I have not been in contact with any of them. One of the cousins is in the hospital in critical condition. I have to take care of my health as I take care of your tax needs. You guys have been so very patient in these trying times we live in daily. I appreciate you allowing me to mail to you. It has cost a bundle but has been worth every penny to keep my clients safe. I love and appreciate each of you. If I were not high risk it would not be as much of an issue but I have two factors causing me to be high risk, diabetes and heart disease. I thank God for all my blessings. If you call and get my voicemail, please leave a message. My phone reception is not good at my house. I live under a jungle of trees. I can text great but speaking service is awful. I also have email [email protected]. Thank you to each and every one of you. Please stay safe and well. See more

Hello to all my clients. I pray all of you are safe and out of harms way but I do have clients who are medical employees and essential employees and my prayers are with each of you. I have many teachers and moms and dads out of work homeschooling their children. Prayers for all in every capacity. This has been the most unusual tax season ever in my 40 years of being in the accounting field. I am having to work from my home due to being high risk for Covid-19 and you all have... been awesome. Thank you so much for your patience with me. With things being so different at my make shift home office, it has slowed down progress somewhat and shortly after moving my office to my home and with the stimulus payments starting, I acquired the Shingles which also put me under for a few days. If you have not received a return call or text, I will be getting with you. I tried to answer as many as I could. My speaking service is not good at my home and it is hard to hear me so I try to text and email as much as possible. I appreciate each of you so much and if I have had your taxes longer than usual this is why. I hope to be catching up a lot this week as I am hopefully reaching the end of the shingles outbreak. Remember the tax deadline has been extended to July 15th. My prayers are with each of you and thank you so much, my friends, because you are the best of the best. Many thanks to my sister Tammy as she comes several times per week and gathers the finished taxes and prepares them for mailing and takes them to the post office for me with all instructions enclosed so I can keep you folks safe and social distanced as well. She also is an advocate and representative of the Small Business Association and has been completing the 10K and 25K SBA loans right and left. She is a one girl show in this as well. She has driven many miles getting information, faxing and mailing applications. I am a one person show as far as doing tax returns and I do approximately 400 each year. This year it is looking closer to 500. Praise the Lord for He is so good to me. Tammy does my bookkeeping and many other things. I couldn’t do it without her. Please keep us in your prayers through this pandemic and always. Thank you also to my wonderful Thomason Family as they are so good to me. GLT Plumbing is best of the best. Many thanks to all and most of all, Jesus Christ. See more

A shout out to great people. One of my clients that live in Florida contacted me this morning and said, I am making masks, can I send you and your family some? I told her yes and thank you and how much do I owe you. She said, Absolutely nothing! Praise God for people out there that just simply care and give to their fellowman out there trying to make it through this pandemic too.

After my post of March 28th and the instructions given, I have found that I am going to be working from home on taxes until Thursday, April 2, 2020. I will still be able to make appointments for coming days and will be able to take taxes in via email, text, phone or mail and if you come by to leave them with me, you will need to bring them in beginning Thursday as GLT Plumbing has their doors locked to the public. Please bear with me throughout these trying days. I am in no way sick, I just will not be working form my office location Monday - Wednesday. I will be calling to reschedule those with appointments on these days. Thank you so much for your understanding. Debbie

Tax Filing Deadline Extended Amid COVID-19 Outbreak Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin announced today that taxpayers (individuals and businesses) would now have an additional 90 days, until July 15, 2020, to file their 2019 tax returns. This latest announcement sets both the filing and payment deadlines to the same day, removing any potential Tax Day confusion. The Treasury still encourages taxpayers who may have tax refunds to file now in order to get their refund money. Fed...eral Software Updates We are working on updating the software to reflect the new filing and payment due dates in client letters, filing instructions, and ACH payments. Please note: The ACH payment change must be implemented in coordination with the IRS's changes to business rules and e-file reject conditions. Additional software updates will be forthcoming, such as changes for estimated payment deadlines and extensions. We are tracking all necessary changes and will release them as soon as possible. There are still a number of open issues the IRS is working through. State Updates We are closely tracking the states' decisions on filing and payment deadlines as well. You can stay informed by regularly checking our State Response to Covid-19 page. We will be updating all state software programs as necessary and will release updates as soon as possible. By order of our President: IRS extends tax filing deadline to July 15 as coronavirus spreads, Mnuchin says. The IRS moved the national income tax filing day ahead to July 15, three months after the normal deadline for Americans to send in their returns.

Debbie Camp Accounting and Tax Service, LLC 15.07.2020

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: IRS NOTICE: Payment Deadline Extended to July 15, 2020 The Treasury Department and the Internal Revenue Service are providing special payment relief to individuals and businesses in response to the COVID-19 Outbreak.... Highlights Filing Deadline The filing deadline for tax returns remains April 15, 2020. The IRS urges taxpayers who are owed a refund to file as quickly as possible. For those who can't file by the April 15, 2020 deadline, the IRS reminds individual taxpayers that everyone is eligible to request a six-month extension to file their return. Payment Relief - Individuals Income tax payment deadlines for individual returns, with a due date of April 15, 2020, are being automatically extended until July 15, 2020, for up to $1 million of their 2019 tax due. This payment relief applies to individuals, trusts, and estates. IRS will automatically provide this relief to taxpayers. Taxpayers do not need to file any additional forms or call the IRS to qualify for this relief. Payment Relief - Corporations For C Corporations, income tax payment deadlines are being automatically extended until July 15, 2020, for up to $10 million of their 2019 tax due. Estimated Tax Payments This relief also includes estimated tax payments for the tax year 2020 that are due on April 15, 2020. Penalties and Interest Penalties and interest will begin to accrue on any remaining unpaid balances as of July 16, 2020. If a tax return or extension is filed by April 15, 2020, the taxpayer will automatically avoid interest and penalties on the taxes paid by July 15. States This relief only applies to federal income tax (including the tax on self-employment income) payments otherwise due April 15, 2020, not state tax payments or deposits or payments of any other type of federal tax. State filing and payment deadlines vary and are not always the same as the federal filing deadline. We expect state tax agencies to announce any available tax relief for affected taxpayers in the coming days; some have already published these notices on their websites. See more

I will be in and out of my office for the next couple of days due to a death in my family. My mother's only living sibling, her sister, passed away in the early evening hours yesterday, March 4th. We were all very close and loved her dearly. My heart is broken. I desire your prayers for her family and ours.
