SALON OPENING UPDATE: Thank you all so much for your patience. We have missed you terribly and can’t wait to see each and everyone of you!! We will be practicing social distancing during your services and taking every precaution possible for our safety and the safety of our clients ... *we ask that you bring a mask and have it on before entering *we will be taking temperatures before entering *only one client in the salon per stylist *call us when you arrive and we’ll let you know when it’s your time to enter *please be respectful and refrain from coming if you’re not feeling well, have been around someone who isn’t feeling well, or if you’ve been exposed to someone with Covid-19 in the last 14 days We are very serious about stopping the spread of this awful virus and we do not take it lightly. We will be doing above what we’re asked to protect you and our stylists. But at the same time, we trust that our leaders will not steer us wrong and know that we must move forward and do our best to bring normalcy back. Thank you for understanding. Salon Update: I want to start out by saying this has not been an easy decision to make. I’ve had a few meltdowns this week due to the pressure of wanting to be a responsible participant in this pandemic, feeling responsible for my girls at the salon, wanting to be available for my clients, as well as protecting my clients, and the financial burden this will put on my girls at the salon as well as Buddy and I. I’ve prayed for days about what to do. Every person in America and... all over the world is dealing with the same difficult decisions that have to be made and financial burdens. Even though I believe the govt will close us down this evening or tmrw, I am making the call to go ahead and close the salon this week. It’s not an easy one!! I have transferred all calls to the salon to my personal phone. I will be making appts for you while we are closed. If you have an appt with us this week, I will be contacting you in the next few minutes. Don’t panic. I’ll be working from dawn to dark to get everyone in as soon as we open back up, which will hopefully be by the later part of next week If you need hair products, Limelife, or something from Threads, I will have a drop box at the back door of the salon and will meet you up there. The drop box will have your item in it along with a Clorox wipe, and little extra something for you! We’ll see each other but we’ll be doing our part to flatten the curve! Deja Vue Salon/Threads Boutique UPDATE on Coronavirus Just letting all our clients and customers know that as of now we will remain open and doing business as usual. We have taken extra steps and precautions that will prayerfully be safer for you and for us. We are know taking 15 minutes after each client is finished with their service to give us the time we need to clean and sanitize before the next client. It will also keep less clients in the salon at one time. There is n...ever more than 10 people total in the building at once anyway but one on one is always a safer route. I personally will not be working any clients in between colors like I normally do. I want to be able to have time to sanitize for your safety. We will be on sanitize mode all through out the day. Also, although we love and want to see all of your beautiful faces, PLEASE do not come to the salon if you are sick, starting to feel sick, not quite well from being sick, or someone in your home is sick. If you have traveled in the last 2 weeks, please refrain from coming until you’ve been two weeks post travel. Also, please come alone, the fewer people we encounter is safer for everyone. This is all for the protection of you, your stylist, and to prayerfully do our part to prevent the spread of the virus. I’ve been following closely the recommendations from the CDC, and as of now, small businesses are to continue business as usual.
