Every year my brother Tim’s organization B.U Project Along with Our Family’s organization The Robinson Family Foundation gives back to families in need durin...g the holiday season and to try shine a positive light on our community, this year is no different We will be providing a FREE holiday Steak Dinner and Stocking Stuffers to 100 of the less fortunate in our community. B.U. Project’s STEAK In The Community: Holiday Food Drive will take place on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 12pm- 3pm at the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Annex Building We will also be holding a Holiday giveaway where we will be raffling off some amazing gifts courtesy of our sponsors If you know a family in need PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell them about this event! We would like to inform everyone that we are back up and seeing patients. We have implemented all safety features possible to ensure both our staff and patients are kept safe during their visit. You will notice a few things are different when you come into the office, and we have implemented the following protocols: - Ensure patient is not sick upon scheduling and confirming appointments. ... - There will be a screening for fever upon check-in at the entrance. You will be asked to wait in your car, and we will call you when we are ready for you. - Only the patient is allowed back at one time. If the patient is under the age of 18, a guardian may be present but not required. - Our treatment rooms have been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected and will be thoroughly cleaned after each patient as has been the normal office protocol. - Our employees have been provided with additional proper personal protection equipment to include N95 masks, face shields, and hair coverings if necessary in addition to their usual gloves, jackets, and glasses. We look forward to seeing our patients again! Know that we have been monitoring everything associated with COVID very closely and take the health and safety of our employees and patients very seriously. As we continue to monitor the recommendations given by the CDC, ADA, and our nation’s leaders, we remain committed to serving our patients with the highest level of care and safety during this COVID-19 pandemic. Following the recommendations of the ADA, we will continue to suspend and reschedule our cleaning appointments for the upcoming week. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause; but out of an abundance of safety for our staff and patients, this remains the corr...ect decision. Drs. Mixon and O’Brien will continue seeing patients that have emergencies and essential procedures. If there is an emergency, please call and schedule an appointment - do not walk in without an appointment. We may be calling to reschedule some that are on the schedule to maintain appropriate guidelines and minimize risk to our staff. Please be aware we are closely monitoring the situation, and will continue to give updates as they are made available to us. As we continue to monitor the updates and changes as related to COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we want to inform our patients of what we are doing to help prevent and slow down the spread of the virus. As there are currently no confirmed cases in Middle Georgia, we are remaining OPEN during normal business hours and are implementing the following steps: Please verbally sign in at the front desk instead of using the sign in sheet. We will be wiping the waiting rooms chairs, door han...dles, and other high-touch areas more frequently throughout the day. We will continue to observe mandatory personal protective equipment (masks, gloves, safety glasses) for our employees, as well as maintaining proper sterilization of equipment and disinfecting the patient chairs and operatories as we have always done. Our employees may ask about recent travel and update health history verbally to ensure there is no risk to our employees or other patients. If you have traveled to another country or city that has confirmed cases of COVID-19, please call and ask to speak with an office manager so we may determine if we should reschedule your appointment. If you are sick or have been around someone that has recently been sick, please call and let us know so we may reschedule your appointment. If you are feeling well, please come in at your scheduled appointment time. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation with us during this time. We strive to maintain a healthy, safe environment for our employees and patients and believe these steps will help us continue to do so.
