Job Duties Forecast industry trends, anticipating movements in the market, the interests of consumers, and the efficiency of our business itself, and advise leadership accordingly Comply with federal, state, and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing compliance, and advising management on needed actions Execute accurate reporting, enabling the department to analyze options and make financial recommendations that align with company objectives Lead the company in securing our financial information, and that of our customers, and spearhead or participate in special projects as needed within the department, within a broader finance environment, and/or cross-functionally Periodically improve and document all accounting control procedures, identifying system issues and making suggestions for improvements Continue your training with classes, workshops, webinars, professional publications, professional networks and associations Responsibilities Gather all necessary reports and detailed support both periodically and on-demand, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, revenue forecasts, budgets, and cash-flow statements Handle AP, verifying payment documentation, referencing outstanding bills, updating debt balance, and conducting disbursement Ensure the integrity of accounting information and reconcile any financial discrepancies by performing or directing forensic research of accounting issues for compliance, and establish quality over transactions and reporting Review and reconcile the general ledger, identifying and thoroughly investigating any discrepancies and taking the proper corrective actions to resolve them Conduct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to verify all entries have been created and posted, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and cohesiveness of information Manage administrative staff within department and transfer accounting/reporting knowledge to other departments Skills and Qualifications Master’s degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance 5+ years corporate accounting experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft excel and Microsoft Project Experience Personal integrity; ability to keep customer and company confidences Thorough knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures Experience in audit and international accounting See more

January 14th, Final phase of installation to our all-inclusive millwork package at the New Dual Brand Residence Inn/Spring Hill Suite Hotel in Greenville, SC. Partner is BE&K, special thank you to Project Mangager Jason Boyles. Division 6 Services manufactured all of the common area millwork, trim package + Guestroom case goods and vainities for both hotel brands. Soon, guests will be able to enjoy all that this unique hotel property has to offer.

D/6 is engineering for the architectural millwork that will be manufactured and installed at the amazing ARRAS | Residences in Asheville NC, Spring 2019. Currently D/6 is on site at ARRAS installing our trim, millwork package in guest rooms and corridors. This property will become a hot spot for the Asheville community and amazing amenities for the residence at ARRAS.

D/6 awarded contract for all inclusive millwork package for AC Huntsville, Alabama. The 6-story, select-service hotel will have 120 rooms and encompass a total of 86,648 square feet. The ground floor will feature the lobby and 5000 square feet of shell space for a restaurant to lease. The second floor a designated meeting level will include meeting rooms, an outdoor function terrace and a fitness center.
