I am so excited about "Signing" the 3rd young person to our new Student Engineer Program. Her signing comes complete with a home studio. Kashira Johnson is a junior cheerleader and music student at Benjamin E Mays High School in Atlanta. We are looking forward to preparing her for a career in the creative services industry. Over the next 4 days we will "signing" 3 more young people into our new "Student Engineer Program". As part of our distance learning program, 5 amazing young people are receiving a full in-home sound recording studio. Our first two students have been up and running for the past 2 months supporting our programs and creating independently at home. Their studio includes a Mac Mini, Apollo Twin digital Interface, 32 inch Smart TV Monitor, Kaotica Eyeball Microphone Isolation, JB...L LSR 305 Studio Speakers, Sterling Audio SP150 Microphone with Shockmount and Carry Case Black, AKAI MPK mini Keyboard Controller, Audio Technica Headphones, DR Pro Mic Stand, Complete Wiring Package and creative software including AVID Pro-Tools, FL Studio, Ableton Live and Final Cut Pro. Atlanta is the creative hub of the world. It is our hope that by providing these young people with this opportunity, we are bridging the technology gap and most importantly, preparing them to be employable upon graduation from high school.
