March 19, 2020 PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT In light of the recent Coronavirus 19 Pandemic, Donehoo-Lewis Funeral Home, has an obligation to protect the welfare of the families in our community. We choose to walk by faith and not fear, but we will exercise sound judgement, respect, and compliance with the guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control, while continuing to serve our families in their time of need. Effective immediately, until further notice, the f...ollowing guidelines will be adhered to by Donehoo-Lewis Funeral Home. *Our office hours will be 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday to be able to sanitize our facility daily, so as to limit potential exposure to the virus. *We ask that only the responsible party (or parties) for making funeral arrangements come in to do so, and that pre-need arrangements be limited to immediate need circumstances. As always, we will be accessible 24 hours by phone in order to serve your needs. *With the current recommendation to limit mass gatherings to very small numbers, we will only conduct graveside funeral and memorial services in open outdoor areas, with immediate family members in attendance. Church and chapel services are suspended until further notice. *Formal public visitations are also suspended until further notice. Private viewings for immediate family members will be arranged on an individual basis. We truly appreciate your understanding as we diligently work to serve our community. As guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control are altered, we will reassess our plan in order to remain in compliance.
