Down Right Strong will be holding a summer camp for 4 weeks this summer. Two weeks in June and 2 weeks in July. The week of June 8th will be a water week! Tons of fun in the sun, then that Friday we will take everyone to Lake Lanier water park. The week of June 22nd will be our sports week. Football, volleyball, badminton, and other sports will be learned and played during the week. That Friday will be some bowling time. So who's really got skills!! We are seeking donations for summer camp in order to help in keeping our cost down. We have made a wish list through Amazon, but will accpet any donations of gently used sports equipment like those listed. Donations are gladly accepted by drop off at Brickhouse Training Facility (1025 MLK Jr Blvd, Suite 600, Gainesville) or contact us for pick up or simply click on the item through Amazon wish list and have it shipped to us. At Down RIght Strong, we are continuing to monitor and track the situation regarding COVID-19 and its impact on our members, volunteers, and community. First and foremost, it is our goal to maintain a safe environment and encourage and/or adopt practices protecting the health of those around us. As we closely monitor the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) https://www.cdc.gov/ recommendations and guidelines, we are continuing to plan for summer camps in hopes ...that we will have an opportunity to serve Hall County and its residents with special needs or disabilities. Summer camps will be week-long day camps that run from 8am until 12pm, Monday through Thursday, and from 8am until 3pm on Fridays. Camps are available to any Hall County resident, age eleven or older with a special need or disability. Camp dates are: June 8, June 22, July 6, and July 20.
