Another record Halloween in Dallas. This was the type of line we have had since about 5pm. Great fun, and everyone seems so happy to be out and about. I think Dallas does it better than anyone.

Local musician Jimmy Dean put on a concert for a good crowd last Friday (Oct.16th) night. The city practiced social distancing in setting up and organizing this event which accounted for the reduced number of trucks due to distancing. Cool-weather made a surprise appearance on an otherwise clear day. Some left a bit early, due to the cold snap. All in all, it was a good event and everyone enjoyed themselves and we thank everyone who came out. Special thanks to the City of Dallas Police Department for helping with all the events in Dallas. We appreciate you and realize that these events would not be possible otherwise. Thanks to Amber Whisner and the City of Dallas. This past Friday Dallas welcomed Shane+Shane, with special guests Common Ground, and the Westridge Worship Band to downtown as our September concert. This year has been difficult, to say the least when it comes to scheduling concerts and other outdoor events. Fortunately, this concert came together perfectly. Not even the weather saw fit to undermine this concert. Which was greatly appreciated by all the local residents who turned out for the show. The Dallas merchants and t...he city of Dallas staff would like to thank everyone for their participation. It was really great to see so many people return to downtown and have fun again. So far this is been the biggest event of the year and everything came together for a great concert. Even, Mayor James Kelly participated in the event and had a great time. Thanks! Well, our time spent in Dallas, Georgia was wonderful with everyone at the event being so very friendly - a race full of happy people!... The morning was well-organized thanks to Morgan Graben and Tina Clark and many volunteers and there were many policemen who worked hard to close off all streets and keep everyone safe along the well-marked course. The race was sponsored by Elrod Garden Center with all proceeds going to Relay for Life of Paulding County and The American Cancer Society.
