He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Psalms 91:1-7 NLT Persistence of God’s love For the Christ Follower - God lovingly pursued us before we even thought about him, and after getting our attention we became aware that whole we were yet unregenerate sinners he died for us. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. Romans 5:8 NLT For the sinner who resists - God lovingly pursues them all the days they continue to resist, for some all the way to death and eternity in hell. God made us agents of free will uniquely allowing each one to chose.

Highlights You Can’t Hide October 25,2020 (long post) Saul hid trying to keep his position although God had fired him. Saul in costume could not hide that he was violating his own edict making the practice of sorcery, divinations, witchcraft punishable by death. Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 KJV Ancestry worship is diabolically opposite of worshipping the one true sovereign God. (From a Biblical worldview the movie Black Panther needs to be rewritten) Connecting the dots from old Pagan holidays to halloween: Halloween has roots that lie firmly in the old pagan holiday of Samhain. On Samhain, it was believed that the veil lifted between the worlds of the living and the dead, allowing spirits, demons and other mythical creatures such as faeries a chance to walk amongst us. People claimed the ancient Druids ate their first born children on Samhain, or collected the blood of their sacrificial humans in cauldrons and drank it. The stories get gorier, claiming that hollowed out pumpkins (Jack o lanterns) and turnips would be filled with fat from previous sacrifices and lit to point dead ancestors back home. True pro-life people don’t connect with halloween. Christ Followers should disengage from any connection with any traditions that are opposite of Godliness including halloween. So what can we do Pastor Chris? What fun can children have? What should we celebrate? *We can celebrate our salvation every day paid by our Savior! *We can celebrate the Lord’s Day every week in fellowship with other Christ Followers! *We can celebrate the occasion of Jesus Christ brought into the world through immaculate conception! *We can celebrate the resurrection of our crucified Savior. The God Head Trinity covers us in love as only an all powerful God can do. The Holy Ghost is always seeking to move the disciple to the righteous position. In 1 Samuel 28 king Saul shows why he is picture perfect for saying one thing and doing another. The Holy Ghost provides Christ Followers with what we need to obey up front and discern evil ploys. If we find ourselves missing what we should have seen the Holy Ghost exposes everything. Despite the COVID19 pandemic, 148 million consumers still plan to participate in halloween this year, according to the National Retail Federation's annual survey. Spending is expected to decrease by 8.3% in 2020, to $8.05 billion, compared to $8.78 billion in 2019. However, those individuals who will participate say they may actually spend up to 6.8% more. In 2019, the average spend was $86.27, and those who say they'll celebrate halloween this year expect to spend an average of $92.12 (more than some who claim Christianity will give to church in a year). Sunday 10-18-2020 Highlights Maybe imitated never duplicated - the Holy Ghost In this season of Fall festivals and halloween, ancestry worship and all types... of satanic worship don’t have misplaced passions. While we need face coverings for COVID19, don’t waste time or effort in misguided traditions. The Holy Ghost person of the God Head Trinity (Father-Son-Holy Ghost) is ministering in the world today to instruct, strengthen, encourage Christ Followers. Focus Scripture Acts 8:13-25 The Holy Spirit has been in existence all along. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: ... Genesis 1:26 (KJV) In our focus scripture Simon himself believed. And after he was baptized, he went around constantly with Philip and was astounded as he observed the signs and great miracles that were being performed. Belief alone does not save. Must Trust in God. Church attendance does not save. I should attend church and associate with believers because I know God for myself. Cannot receive true salvation through: Manipulation Education matriculation Biological Inheritance Financial consideration There is only one way to Heaven and receiving the power of the Holy Ghost by Placing your trust in the biblical Jesus Christ. Key Indicators of Spirit Filled Life: Gospel Witnessing: Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Christ Likeness: Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. In Prayer: Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. If you have not received Christ as Savior and Lord: Must step to God correct. He wants all of you. He knows what he has put in you to be used for his Glory. For the existing Christ Follower, God’s Word is his will and his will is his way. He wants all of you.

Highlights 10-11-2020. Leadership the Jesus Way Every Christ Follower is a leader at some level. The message and indeed all of my references used were about the biblical Jesus not a cultural or ethnocentric Jesus. Don’t get it wrong and chase the arrogant egotistical drum major instinct. Be a drum major for love. People are watching you and the closer they are to you the more attention to your details they pay. ... Leading the Jesus Way is not about a political strategy; a financial strategy; a social dominance strategy. Leading the Jesus Way is a missional strategy for kingdom Growth necessitating: Prayer... Study of Holy Word... Service over self... Fellowship with other Christ Followers... and Demonstrating having made peace with your past. Lead like Jesus until you are with Jesus eternally. See more

Every Christ Follower is a leader at some level. It comes with salvation and the transformation process. Follow Christ and invite others to follow you as you follow him. People are watching and in order to watch they follow. The message in worship will focus on Jesus speaking to privilege and entitlement within the disciples. Serving and earning the right to lead keeps you from trying to create your own leadership paradigm.

#3 of 3 in Sermon Series Entitled When God heals the Land ... then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV Tomorrow Sunday October 4th in the finale of this three part sermon series we will clarify to whom and for what purpose God is speaking. We will also celebrate the hope of understanding that it is the whole land healed because God’s people follow God’s Word. The nation (land) is not healed because o...f the goodness of those in control but because of authentic believers turning, and God hearing and forgiving. Sunday September 27th we unpacked what renewal and revival looks like among Christ Followers individually and corporately. Building on September 20th declaration that God alone is sovereign; we continue exploring how important it is to know God is a God of process - salvation, humility, prayer, seeking his face, and God’s people turning from our wicked ways. Sunday September 20th we embraced the fact that God is sovereign. He choses places and people in alignment with his infinite wisdom. God is a God of Process. God cannot lie (Numbers 23:19). Anything outside of truth is not of God. God expects (his people called by his name) to submit to humility, prayer, seeking his face, and turning from wicked ways.
