We, the therapists of Karuna Counseling, wish to express our heartfelt outrage and grief over the recent incidents of police brutality and the abuse and murder ...of innocent black lives. We recognize these atrocities as only the most recent and visible examples of what has been centuries of oppression. To the black community, we want to say that we stand with you in solidarity and know that your lives MATTER. We are watching what is happening and are not turning away from it. As a collective, we will continue to work to find and examine our own biases and become better anti-racist accomplices. For others who wish to do the same, we offer the following list of resources.
