Today is Pink Out Day in our office. We are showing support for all those families affected by breast cancer and our Stephanie. Stephanie battled this disease with such optimism and grace. She was out for the minimal amount of time recommended by her physicians. She was back in the office providing amazing customer service to our families with a smile on her face and with no complaints. Unbelievable to observe! She is a true warrior and she is so inspiring to us. We love you Steph!! #twoyearsurvivor

Over the last 2 years, our team treated a total of 285 patients: 149 of those patients under general anesthesia in the operating room, and 136 patients under local anesthesia. Due to the ongoing situation of COVID-19, we will remain closed for regularly scheduled appointments until it is deemed safe to reopen. We ARE available for emergency treatment to patients of record and to new patients. Please do not hesitate to call our office if your child is experiencing pain, swelling, or a traumatic mouth/tooth injury and your call be be routed to Dr. Hogan or Dr. Shelley. To all of our families, We are continuously wading through the updates and information on how to proceed. Please know that our number one priority is the health and safety of our employees and patients! As per the Georgia Dental Association, the Georgia Department of Health, and the CDC, we will remain open and seeing patients on a limited basis. Our focus is on essential treatment. That is patients with pain, swelling and moderate-severe cavities. Please comply by previous posted precautions. Remember to call or text when you arrive for your appointment. Dr. Hogan and/or Dr. Shelley will be available as always by phone for after-hour emergencies. Please call our office if you need further guidance! Dear Families, As the situation concerning the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues, we want to assure you that we are taking the matter seriously and are keeping up with the current news from the ADA (American Dental Association) and CDC. We are taking every precaution to make sure that our offices are following all guidelines and even implementing some new things ourselves. We recommend and are doing the following:... -Wash hands oftenmake sure to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds. This can timed by singing the ABC song twice OR the Happy Birthday song twice at regular speed. -Make sure to use hand sanitizer. We have some at the front desk and throughout the office. -We are disinfecting all door handles, counter surfaces, play areas throughout the day using a surface disinfectant that meet infection control standards. -We have removed all magazines in our lobby since that can spread germs. - When you arrive for your appointment, call the office or text through our office system that you have arrived. WAIT in your car and we will TEXT YOU when your chair is ready. -PLEASE bring only necessary individuals with you to the appointment. -ALL PATIENTS are asked to re-schedule if they are not well, if someone in their family is not well or if you or someone in your family has traveled to the restricted countries in the last several weeks. -All of our staff has been informed to call out of work if they wake up and are not feeling well. This DOES include the doctors. Please understand any changes to the schedule that could occur. -Our offices are professionally cleaned weekly, and as stated above, we also clean the offices daily. Rigorous standards will be kept throughout this concerning pandemic. Our goal is to be able to continue to see our patients without interruption. However, we will do what is best for our patients and team. Maintaining a safe place for your treatment and our employees is our main goal. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
