Our recording gave us some challenges this week, so for now, we offer the sermon and the baptism of Lily Mae Simpson. It was a joyous day to celebrate God's love for us and the world.

Alternative Gift Market, Day 11: Intown Collaborative Ministries, an intown Atlanta non-profit that works to prevent and reverse homelessness and hunger. Their homeless outreach program is based out of offices on the DHPC campus and their Food Pantry, open three times a week at DHPC, is available to anyone experiencing food insecurity.

Alternative Gift Market, Day 10: Mercy Community Church, is a grassroots, ecumenical, open, and affirming congregation that provides a safe, warm shelter and meals to those experiencing homelessness. As the upcoming double-whammy of winter weather plus pandemic approaches, Mercy is working especially hard and thinking quite creatively about how to keep folks warm.

Pastors Shelli and Elizabeth are spending portions of their days serving as poll chaplains in Jonesboro and Lithonia, respectively. We are grateful to work at a church that supports us in our work in the community.

We are excited to worship with you in person today! Join us for All Saints worship as we honor the saints of DHPC that have died in the past year and as we celebrate the ways that in life and in death, Christ is still with us. Bring your own chair and a blanket if it is chilly. Masks are required! The service will be available to those joining by Zoom as well.
