In the thread of 2020 strikes again, I just realized that our mail application has been filtering most of the Custom Order and Contact Us requests from our website into our Junk Mail folder for almost a month--presumably because someone started using those forms to try to get us to purchase physical enhancement devices in late November. Happy Boxing Day! We’re open from 7am to 2pm for takeout and drive-thru.

Don’t be the one who messages us in the morning asking how to bake your Take and Bakes straight from the freezer. (You can’t do it.). Also, be EXTRA certain that you leave the thawing rolls out of reach of pets. The raw dough turns into alcohol in their stomachs, and it’s not pretty. (Learned this the hard way.) Merry Christmas, everyone!

We’re sold out of doughnuts today! Thanks to everyone who came in for your patience this busy, rainy Christmas Eve. We’ll remain open until 2pm for drinks and pickups of pre-ordered Take and Bake cinnamon rolls.

Doughnuteers, this was amazing. We put out a bin for toys that we usually fill twice during the Christmas season with donations. We didn’t schedule a pickup with Toys for Tots because I can usually just put the donations in the back of my car and take them to a larger drop-off point. You donated enough toys this year to fill a small SUV and a truck to the brim. FOUR bikes. HUGE art sets, Barbie dream cars, musical instruments, probably a hundred infant toys. . . it was like b...eing in Santa’s workshop. Toys for Tots has seen an exponential surge in their requests for assistance due to the pandemic, and our community responded with gusto. Thank you. If you want to help out further, Toys for Tots still needs volunteers to sort and pack these toys to go out to families this week. It’s a GREAT way to spend a spare day during your holiday week, and kids 9 and up can help, too. Just head to the Atlanta Toys for Tots website and Apply to Volunteer.

Our drive-thru is your best bet for a low contact Dutch Monkey experience. Have your passenger pull up the menu on our website while you’re in line, and refresh it to see the latest availability!

Sunday’s Menu!

Thank you for all of the donations! We’ll be packing the toys up to head to the Toys for Tots sorting center tomorrowand the rest will be delivered to Meals by Grace and FCS on Monday and Tuesday. It’s going to be a brighter Christmas for some local families because YOU cared enough to give.
