Icle invited me to chair a seminar so We organized The Golden Age of Torts ,Best Verdicts of 2015 seminar on Jan 21 for the State Bar ICLE.Attendance was strong.Speakers included Tommy Malone,Jay Sadd,Phil Henry,Jim and Jebb Butler,Sean Williams,Pete Law, Jane Lamberti ,Mike Moran,Naveen Ramachandrappa,Rod Dixon,Cale Connally,alan Hamilton ,Jeff Shiver and Anne Boriskie of the Brain Injury Peer Visitor Association Attendees rated the speakers 5 of 5 and rated the seminar the best cle of the year.I believe all of the lawyers who attended gleaned some knowledge they can apply to their important cases

Feeling very grateful for $36,000,000 verdict for the Dubose family in a medical malpractice case with dear friends Phil Henry , Bob Susko,and Marla Eastwood.

We proudly provide financial support ,for the last decade, to The Brain Injury Peer Visitor Association(and again this year) which has provided information and support for the community of traumatic brain injury and stroke survivor patients and their families as well as for The Seminole Spirit Brain Injury Support Group.We,at our law firm, have been representing brain injury clients for the past 37 years .I published my first article on brain injury in Trial magazine"Mild to Moderate Brain Injury" in 1990 and have served as board of director member ,volunteer and teacher to other lawyers on the subject of traumatic brain injury for over 3 decades.

I am betting that the 5 Ga State nurses were killed by a poorly trained trucker driving a tractor trailer .beyond the legal number of hours while hauling freight to Savannah.Driver was probably distracted or well asleep.Truck and trailer ownership probably divided into different entities to hide the assets

5 Ga. Southern nursing students on their way to their final internship in Savannah were killed by a negligent trucker.This is the kind of case that requires an experienced interstate trucking attorney.These cases are much more complex than a run of the mill auto accident.We all grieve with the families for their loss and hope they hire an experienced trucking lawyer.

I was invited to speak to the Gate City Bar Association tonight about jury selection.Enjoyed being with everyone .

Just settled a head on collision case .Our client hit head on by a dump truck which crossed the center line.We had to hire an engineer and litigate to obtain a policy limits settlement as dump truck driver and insurance company blamed it on our client . Why didn't the insurance company just pay our client so that she wouldn't have to hire a lawyer?same old story

Attending seminar at Emory Medical School concerning Understanding the Medical Conditions and testing in National Football League brain injury settlement.We are collaborating on 17 of the cases with me focusing on the brain injury proof.
