I am SO loving this Joint vs. Separate Comparison Report in my tax software! After the initial return is prepared all I have to do is answer a few quick questions and it will generate a report that will show me if it's better for them to file jointly or separate. It's so nice and neat too! It summarizes everything line-by-line so that I can share it with them and quickly point out the areas affected by choosing a different filing status. They're gonna love it!!

In 2005 & 2006, the #IRS granted this special tax deduction to taxpayers who provided shelter for victims of Hurricane Katrina.
