Job Description We are looking for a qualified Infant Lead Teacher for our Infant classroom. This is a full time position Monday through Friday 6:30 to 2:30 but must also be flexible with the hours as the needs arise. This classroom is rated for 12 children from the ages of 6 weeks to 15 months. We are looking for individuals with a passion for children, detail oriented, able to multi task and who has great communication skills. A CDA, TCC or a degree is a must for this posit...ion. Responsibilities Provide a nurturing, safe environment to stimulate young minds Develop a careful and creative program suitable for Infant children Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, indoor and outdoor games, etc.) to enhance the children's learning Observe each child to help them reach their beginning milestones Introduce colors, shapes, textures and vocabulary Basic sign language Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times Follow schedule provided by the parents along with the schedule for the classroom Communicate with parents daily through an APP or email to communicate the child's day including pictures Team player with other school staff members Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards Skills Proven experience as a Teacher in a licensed childcare setting Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms Excellent communication and instructional skills Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable Balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen Certification in child CPR and First Aid CDA, TCC or BA in ECE or willing to attain such with a period of time Tolerant of differences and accepting of mistakes Job Type: Full-time COVID-19 considerations: Temperature screens, COVID questionnaire, Hand Sanitizer when not in the classroom.

Late in posting last weeks Space theme. Had to circle the sun to get a good signal....We had a BLAST!

We had a very busy week talking about Community Helpers but the highlight of the week was trying to catch a pesky little Leprechaun. Our Ga Pre-K children built Leprechaun traps and I think we almost had him but he got away. We will get him next year.

This week the children went to the land of Care-A-Lot. Based on the children's series "Care Bears" we used these bears to remind us how to share, be a good sport, love one another, and even if we are a "grumpy bear" how important is to cheer up our friends.

Eagle Pointe will be open tomorrow, Thursday, March 18th. All classes will be in session. We will not be able to offer a day camp for elementary children on such short notice. We sorry for the inconvenience.

No matter what people say....We learned a Thing or Two about Dr. Seuss and his characters. We enjoyed his stories, eating green eggs and ham. creating art work to go along with his books, dressing up like characters and eating cupcakes for his birthday.
