To all of our entertainment colleagues in Georgia, please join us at the Capitol on Monday morning. The more of us in attendance, the stronger the message! What: Legislative Resolutions to honor Georgians working in State’s Film/TV Industry and #WeAreGaFilm book to be released. Produced by The Georgia Studio & Infrastructure Alliance (GSIA), which represents local investment in Georgia’s film and television production industry, the book #WeAreGaFilm includes dozens of stories... about Georgians across the state who support the industry through jobs ranging from catering and transportation to location management and special effects. #WeAreGaFilm includes 60 stories, with regional spotlights on Metro Atlanta, Barnesville, Covington, Rome, and Savannah. Georgians from across the state are featured in the book, which emphasizes the real-person impact the industry has on the state. When: Monday, Feb. 24, at approximately 10 a.m. (start of session). Senate Resolution 755 will be presented, followed by House Resolution 1193. Where: Senate and House Chambers, Georgia State Capitol, 206 Washington St SW, Atlanta, GA 30334. Members of the Georgia Studio & Infrastructure Alliance will be available to media following the presentations of the Resolutions. Georgians featured in the book are also expected to be available. The book is sponsored by Fulton Films, The MBS Group, Explore Gwinnett, IATSE 479, Newton/Covington Economic Development, Entertainment Partners, City National Bank, Panavision, and Film Rockdale.
