Good news, Georgia! Beginning Thursday March 24, all adults ages 16 years and older will be able to receive a COVID-19 vaccine! At this time, East Cobb Pediatrics has applied for the COVID-19 vaccine, but we have NOT received approval or the vaccine. We recommend the COVID-19 vaccine for those who are eligible according to CDC recommendations. Currently, the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are available for those 18 years and older and the Pfizer vaccine is available f...or those 16 years and up. If you have access to the vaccine for your older teen, we recommend that you have them vaccinated. We encourage everyone to continue to be cautious and wear masks, wash hands, and watch their distance. Let’s do our part to lead us into a healthy and fun summer! Please stay tuned for further updates. . . #COVID19 #Georgia #covidvacccine #StopTheSpreadOfCOVID19

East Cobb Pediatrics believes that wearing a mask is essential to preventing the spread of COVID-19. As such, we will not be providing mask exemption letters for students preparing for face-to-face learning. We are encouraged with Cobb County COVID-19 data trends and are working daily to educate our families on how we ALL play a role in keeping our community safe. We want our kids to not only be able to go to school safely, but to stay in school. Let’s all work together to stop the spread: wash your hands, watch your distance and wear a mask! Stay healthy ECP families!
