Each year, the East Side PTA Community Outreach Committee organizes a Thanksgiving food drive to assist families in need at our sister school, Fair Oaks Elementary. Traditionally, we provide Thanksgiving dinner for over 100 families at Fair Oaks. Due to Covid-19 and various school restrictions, the drive will look different, but we still hope to reach our same goal. Attention Rising 6th grade parents. Consider volunteering in the front office at Dickerson Middle School! Volunteers come in for just one shift a month and help check students in and out of school, answer phones and other support as needed. The three shift times available: AM shift is 8:30am 11:30am; Lunch shift is 11:30am 1:30pm; PM shift is 1:30pm 4:15pm.
