For our next Employee Spotlight, we are featuring our Clinical Fellow, Ashley! Ashley Persaud, M.S., CF-SLP received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies and triple minored in Psychology, Sociology, and Business Administration at the University of Houston. She obtained her Graduate Certificate in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Florida International University and received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Nova Southeastern University.... She is currently in her Clinical Fellowship year where she works full time as a school-based SLP in Gwinnett County. Ashley has experience working with children with varying disorders such as Cerebral Palsy, Prader-Willi Syndrome, Apraxia, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Fluency, Language Disorders, and Articulation Disorders. She also has experience from her time in an Outpatient Rehabilitation Center working with children with dysphagia, feeding aversions and disorders, and cleft lip/palate. Ashley has been involved in research regarding swallowing disorders and has published two articles alongside her colleagues and professor. Ashley has a keen interest in feeding disorders and is looking forward to expanding her experience at EBS Children’s Therapy. We are so grateful to have her on our team!
