Emanuel County, please welcome our new fire and rescue chief Nick Ivey! Nick comes into this position with 6 years of experience in Laurens county, he is also a... state certified fire inspector and specializes in confined space rescue. Nick is also a 20 year marine veteran working in communications and as a martial arts instructor. I am excited to be joining the Emanuel County Fire Department on Feb 1st. I am looking forward to working with the Fire Chiefs at each of the stations within the county. It will be my honor to serve alongside these fine men and women. I thank everyone for this opportunity. Nick has a wonderful wife, Misty, and three beautiful children Ryan, John and Madeline. Congrats Nick and welcome!

You can contact me for pick up or drop them off at the front desk of the hospital. Thank you so much for the outpouring support at Thanksgiving, they LOVED them and still have them hanging up! We’d like to commend Paramedic Nicky Drake and Paramedic Lee Clark on 23 years of service to Emanuel County EMS. They both began their career with our agency in December of 1997. When they began their career, they also were both trained in rescue operations as members of Emanuel County Rescue. Nicky Drake is a Summertown native. He has also served with Summertown Fire as a fireman/first responder. He currently serves in the capacity of Shift-A Supervisor and Assistant Direct...or. Lee Clark is a Stillmore native. She has served with Stillmore Fire as a first responder medic. She currently serves as a Senior Medic on Shift-C. Thank you both for your service to the citizens of this county and this agency.
