Economy Diesel was opened in 2011 by one man, on a part time basis doing very specific jobs on a particular Powerstroke engine. After seeing the demand for this, it became necessary to hire a few Ford techs who worked on the side to include other model Powerstroke engines and support the unforeseen demand. After a few years of very surprising amounts of growth, we expanded to include other diesel engines to include all Powerstroke, Duramax, Cummins, and Caterpillar. We work o...n any model of these engines in light, medium, and heavy duty applications. We now are looking to add another technician to our team to assist with the day to day work load. This person should be a motivated individual looking to work and advance their knowledge with a fast paced, quickly growing diesel repair & performance shop that's developed a broad customer base and reputation across multiple states. This position will require some verifiable previous experience in this field. The ideal candidate should be able to come in and start working with little to no assistance immediately and have the necessary tools for the job. Job Description: Technician / Mechanic Main Responsibilities: - Service, repair, and customize vehicles to customer requests - Help clean & maintain the shop - Help load and unload parts when necessary - Operate a forklift (will train if needed) - Prepare vehicles for pickup by customers - Any other shop needs as they arise to help keep the shop running smoothly Candidate Requirements: - Must be at least 18 years of age - Have common sense and a hard work ethic - Have a valid drivers license - Have a good driving record & criminal history - Have reliable transportation - Have emotional stability - Be friendly and able to get along with other team members or customers - Be motivated and a self starter - Be able to come to work on time and stay late if needed - Have a no excuse mentality - Prepared to work hard and at a fast pace All qualified candidates should keep in mind that this is not a temporary position.
