Whether you’re someone who likes to decorate for Christmas early or wait until after Thanksgiving, we think we’ll have something to appease you either way: a cranberry italian soda. But as for us, we’re definitely decorating right now.

The power is on (for now), the sandwiches are hot and the coffee is warm. The storm has done some damage throughout town, but we're doing okay right now. The parking lot nearest us is closed for a church event, but it is otherwise business as usual. ... Stay safe out there, everyone.

While our baristas are fully trained in the art of steamed milk, the perfect cup of matcha, and zombie slaying, we kindly ask you to assist us with our monster problem. We hear their weakness is their soft marshmallow center.

Did you know we sell Comic Books? Wednesday is New Comic Book day at Ellijay Coffeehouse and Mountain Town Toys. These are the new comic books I couldn't turn down. Come flip through our whole array of scifi and adventure comics, and maybe dig up some antique or boutique toys.

We have new stickers and postcards for sale in the shop! The wonderful @abigailducote designed these and we couldn’t love them or this little town more.

We’re entering giving season, and we think we should be your first stop. Who could resist a cute mug paired with their favorite roast of coffee? We also have new gift cards that we’re excited about.

It’s officially fall and we think you’ll fall in love with our caramel apple butter latte. It’s perfect for the start of apple season and this crisp weather.

New Fall Flavor for a warm and toasty feeling. The Golden Latte is mix of turmeric, cinnamon, and black pepper steamed with the milk of your choice.

We’ve decided to roll out a new addition to the menu: cinnamon rolls. Great for a breakfast date or on the go treat.

School’s almost back in session, which means we’ll be opening earlier to provide you with the power to get through the day. Starting August 3rd, we’ll open the doors at 7 AM and close at 5:30. Come see us!

Good Morning folks! It's a gross and rainy day. Come dry off and warm up with a hot cup of coffee!

I know most people haven't seen it yet, but we did add a Huge Beautiful seating area to the coffee shop. This is the old venue/retail space, but it's been converted in to a full time coffee shop seating area. I just Love those walls!

Trying a new roast today. La Minita from Costa Rica. It's a single origin, sun dried, city roast and it makes for a Wonderful French press. Of course we still carry the dancing goats blend that everyone knows and loves, but if you make it out to us in the next few days, you really should give this one a shot.

We're so thankful for all of the support we've gotten from JoAnn and Rick in our transition. Y'all are the best, and you've made our dreams come true.

The time has come! We'll be open for business Monday June 1st. All our paperwork is in order, our coffee shipment is on it's way, and we'll see you all starting at 8AM on Monday. I'm so excited!

Hi everyone! We are still working on getting everything set up for Re-Opening the Ellijay Coffeehouse. Unfortunately, we are going to have to push back the re-open date a few days. We are looking forward to opening the doors and are pushing for June 1st Re-Open, but things may change. ... We can't wait to be able to have the community back at the shop and meet everyone. 1 MONTH into social distancing!!!!! WOW !!! what on earth is everyone doing? our yard looks amazing, garden is producing food, i have memorized every rock and tree on my property walkabout, chickens are learning english, dog is learning spanish, we are learning the dysfunction of being anti-social......and i could really use a good latte about now!.....we are gonna sit out this big reopening of things to be sure we are not about to make the biggest mistake of our little Georgia lives! but are looking to see smiling faces in JUNE we hope.....until then show us what you have been creating and of course be safe!

I have been writing quite a bit lately mostly poetry about the stillness and bewilderment of what has happened ---March 22nd i shut our coffeehouse down and a wave of anxiety came over me- once i found the peace to accept these unknown times and be present in them i found that the stillness made me hear better and see better and even feel better....thank you Travis for such beautiful wonderfully written words and rest assured that we are taking good care of your mom and ray!! Our baristas have all reported amazing creative time...McKenna has been reading and writing oh yea and learning how to play soccer....Lacey is reading painting, drawing and also into soccer:) Zoie is reading, baking & planting, Elizabet...h has been working on her Womxn in the Pines!!!, practicing her yoga...and we are all napping....as for me I have been planting the gardens, reading, writing , taking long walks, bird watching and painting.........while it has been a trying time it has been freeing as well to really spend time doing other things we love and never seem to devout that much time to and now we have nothing but time.........tell us what you have been up to.............. To our wonderful ‘Local Living Room’ Community: These are certainly uncharted waters we find ourselves trying to navigate these last few days and weeksI cannot begin to explain the angst Rick and I have felt about keeping some form of normalcy in our little town and our coffeehouseworrying about the world at large our country our state . our little mountain town and ultimately we worry about our staff- do we keep them employed? Do we close so they can be safe from expo...sure? Some have already opted to not come inAs we cut back hours even more we realize that we like many food service establishments need to close our doors for a whilethis is probably one of the hardest decisions we have had to makeand we have spent many hours and days weighing the options.. shedding a few tears in the processit is with a heavy heart and a deep concern for us all that we will be officially closing the Coffeehouse at 2PM today until further notice! Be safeuse this time to be creative, journal, paint, garden and what a great opportunity to totally reinvent ourselves!!! Sending you all much love and looking forward to when we can once again gather in the Local Living Room.
